Today marks seventy-one years since the United States and allied forces initiated the largest amphibious invasion in history.
I will tell you right now that words from me won’t give a day like this any where near the justice that it deserves. On its 70th anniversary last year, Allan Bourdius did “live” tweet of the historic invasion. It’s worth taking a look at.
